Heads up Newbies

When I try to give a person a few heads up on a CWB test I shouldn't have to deal with an apparent being'' called out'' by someone who I consider to being either drunk or crazy.Anyway put, it doesn't help anyone under false pretences from a 20 ,30 ,40,whatever you wanna make up ''ironworker''(loosely put) that'' this is the way I would do it'',or ''this is how it is''....I think Sundown brought this up before....done to impress Newbies....

It's been a while since I've taken a C.W.B. test, I don't recall having a run on run off with the backing plate ?
Maybe some of you that have taken a recent CWB. test could enlighten Me on the more recent procedures !

Maybe My memory is silpping with age ?

I believe that I understand the source of your frustration with this member... and I believe that attempts have been made in the past to bring all of his inconsistencies to light... But nothing positive came from it.

Even the newcombers that are greener than grass will sooner or later start scratching their heads at some of his posts.... so just let it be.

Highlighting the situation in this manner will only reflect negatively upon you, and will not affect him either way.

I like Norm, I can tell he learns here. In his world being extremely technically knowledgable may be irrellevent to some extent beyond, if its thick heat it, if its harder use lo-hi. I know a lot of guys that are fine welders that dont know much about it and I am certainly a long way from an engineer. I made it for 25 yrs before I had a chance to really study a little, but I can fill a gap with the best of them even if I dont know the chemistry. No one cares what you know, its about what you do, I suspect that some that go out of the way to show what they know dont really do much but sit around trying to prove how bright they are.
