    dynasty 200 dx mods and changes

    hi,

    i am looking at a low time dynasty 200 dx.
    it was bought new in late 2006 early 2007.

    have there been many changes that i should be aware of.
    any idea of a fair price for one with less than 100 hours on it??

    It is an LG without the Blue Lightning.

    Ok, any big disappointments??

    Any price adjustments?

      The big change was in June 2008 as I recall. The newer model was still called the 200 DX but had some updated software. The older models (prior to June 2008) cannot be updated.
      I believe the change had to do with wave shape selections and a feature that automatically selects the tungsten size (default of 3/32) and parameters for that size tungsten.

        you got me looking and there is a lot of info on the 200dx.

        i am thinking the general consensus is the blue lightning and extra wave forms are worth the newer model pending old sale price.

        current craigs list in wva shows lots of options on a rig with only 12 hrs.
        2500.00 with 60cft bottle and contractors kit plus more.

        tempting, but i guess a local buy from a local dealer may help out in the long run.
