    Thanks
I almost always hang around 72 balance myself.
The majority of my settings are based more on the simple little 200 tho.
This winter I'm gonna have to get a bunch more **** on that 700
Thanks for the kind words Leefy, you are a fine person to know as well IMO

    Thanks Andy

Will write that in my notes and hopefully remember to read them.

    Glad it worked for you.

80 on the balance might still be too high for that job. With the EN/EP split you are running and that being a cast job, I'd run the balance down near 70-72.
Usually older cast stuff needs more cleaning cycle.

    FusionKing saved my bacon again!

So I going to do a small repair on cast aluminum bell. Have the amps at 85, en100, ep 75, and balance at 80. This was a handle on the bell and was about 1/4" thick and 1/2" wide. Beveled the edges, cleaned it up and ready to go. Tacked one side, turned it over and tacked the other side and suzam, melted it right off. Ok, I forgot something. Had to look at my notes and Fusionking had given me advice on case aluminum skeg. He told me, if I had read my notes, to turn the frequency down to 40. Well, I had frequency on 120.

Turned it down, ground out my mess, cleaned it up and repaired with the correct frequency. So, if you get advice, pay attention and write it down if you are old like me. The memory is the first to go.

    Thanks FK
