Ever heard of this company?

I stopped in to the "other local weld supply shop" and was looking at some new Tig gloves when the guy said have you seen these new ones from "BSX"?

They are a bit more money but seem to be selling pretty good now compaired to the Tillmans I normally get I think he said it was $25.00 for a set of tig gloves when I think I paid around $8-10 for my others and I did notice these seemed a little thicker then the Tillmans ( kind of bulky for me anyway)

So any of you ever heard of this company and if so do you use any of their stuff?

Only got a welding hat from them, but their stuff seems good.

Yeah their big on BSX down here in Jacksonville florida. I even got a couple BSX jackets, and gloves as well, but yes they are a little pricey, but of good quality. Is it better than the other stuff, I dont know, I bought them, because I like the horsy on my welding jacket.

Yeah they seem like good quality stuff but I not sure I wanted to spend the extra money on them right now and not like them plus I looking into getting a new plasma cutter so I have to save my money for that instead(fire,fire,he,he,FIRE!!) I have enough gloves any way and would much rather have the "NEW BLUE" toy instead.

ha,ha,ha, your a funny guy to boot, yeah an old boss told me one time I was a cockey a$$ welder and I told him he was just a short fat guy who didn't know how to weld but bragged about all the stuff he thought he welded and coudn't.

Yes he did actually! I think it was $2.oo more pr hr and also got the leadman spot from the other guy he had hired for it that was also his buddy, to bad for himbut good for me.

I worked for him another 2 1/2yrs after that ordeal, so it worked out that time, but I would not suggest doing it all the time thinking it will turn out the same for anybody else I just got lucky.

Come to think of it I do have several pairs of the Black Stallion tig gloves but they are different then the ones I saw at the lws.

The ones they had were black leather with a mesh on top of the hand and thicker kind of like the blue metal working gloves from Miller, but like I said I have alot of other gloves and really want the plasma cutter instead.

Black Stallion gloves and coats are the nicest ive ever used.

I've used Black Stallion's mechanix type work gloves and they seem to last twice as long as the more expensive actual Mechanix gloves.......Also have their tig gloves and I love them as well......and reasonably priced at least from Cut Weld welding supply in IL. Just my 2 cents Jim
