    Probably does not.

The ser# cutoff for new versions is LJ280222L.

    Hope this helps.

The new software has different wave forms. Check out the following thread:

Unlike most Lincolns it's not down loadable, you have to buy a preloaded board, maybe oneday, I'll be able to t-shoot a miller via my laptop, but not today....

Andy: Do you know if and when Miller might be making an "Upgrade Kit" for the older 200DXs? I think a lot of us with the older 200DXs would like to upgrade if the cost was not too high.

Probably a lot more than you would think.. I know my refrigerator has a micro controller. I'd bet it is not field programmable. I've had computer modules in cars (central locking computer, not the fuel injection computer) replaced under warranty, because it had a few bugs, and it was not field programmable.. Most A/V receivers have been microprocessor controlled for years, and I'd guess that only the high end ones are field programmable.

There will be no upgrade kit for the older Dynasty 200s.
The reason is that the micro-p change was also done with the upgraded Blue Lightning HF start system that has different hardware. A chip change alone will not work and the additional hardware will not fit OR wire properly to the older Dynasys.

                    Sorry.

But those old Dynasties weld just fine!! You can only detect minimal changes.
I run my new one set up different because I can, But if you set the start up parameters like the newer ones, the old ones strike off great.
Soft squarewave is nice,(and what I prefer) but sine and triangle I never need much.
The only reason I changed machines was because I had to send mine in for a repair, and so I went ahead and got a newer one to use while the old one was in the shop. Old meaning one year.
Had it not needed to be worked on costing me downtime I would still be using that machine instead. They rock IMO. You still do not find them for sale cheap.
