  • Lincoln 140T 120V- Help !!

Hey Guys; I made a big Boo- Boo; I Mistakenly Plugged my 120V. Mig Welder
    into a 240V. outlet for about 10 Seconds !!
Now when I try to use it, the wire will feed for about 5-10 seconds
then it stops ! I turned the machine Off, let it sit for a
few minutes, turn it back on and it will feed the wire for a few
Seconds, then stop again!! It just goes like that Now ??

My Question is what Damage have I done?
    What should I Do Now???

You go and buy a Miller like you should've done in the first place

Seriously though... sounds like some kind of circuit breaker inside the unit keeps tripping after 5-10 sec and only resets itself after the welder is shut off. Do you have a wiring diagram or schematic?

                            "Whew!"

Hey, that's great! They gonna show the NFL playoffs up there? The Cards & Eagles are playing first. That's quite a facility, where they play. Over 130,000 yds of cast-in-place concrete in that thing! The roof trusses were designed in Belgium, and built locally by Schuff Steel. Took them almost a week to raise them into place. The field rolls in and out too. It was a real experience working on that thing for as long as we did. Glad you got your MIG going.
