They care Norm. At least enough to keep us around to continue sucking the life blood out of the average working folk.

Hi Norm: I'm just north of the GTA in a little town called Queensville, ON. I work in Markham and its nice to be able to live in a rural area on a farm and still be able to go to work in the great big smoke :-)

Keep the spool gun. I recently got one so i can run .023 wire for thin work. Like it a lot.

I put a set of quick disconnects on the gas line so I can easily switch the same tank between the two gun gas ports. I run .035 in the main mig gun.

Unfortunately, I've been away from home all weekend so I haven't had a chance to fire her up. I can't wait for tomorrow after work!

Just tell her you need it to fix the house. That should shut her up nicely.

    AL uses straight argon, yep.

Now go make some sparks! The 210 has been idle too long.

You guys win. I'm going to keep it for now. I have the odd eaves that needs a small fix to handle a leak so it be nice some day to be able to fix them.

What does one need to run for gas for aluminum? Pure argon?

Here is my brilliant story for my wife. With the spoolgun my unused mm 210 was about 100 bucks more than a brand new mm212 with no spoolgun. It was a bit of a Hassle with shipping and customs but I think I got something out of in the end with the spoolgun.

How many pairs of shoes does she have?

I bet once you add up her vices, the dollars will be in your favor for some new gear.

Then ask her how much money she can make with her shoes.

I keep buying stuff, but it turns around and puts cash back in the wallet, so that keeps the mrs pretty quiet when it comes to new purchases. She moans a little, but that's as far as it goes. "Don't you already have one of those?" Yeah, and I'd like 2 more of them. lol

If all else fails, tell her it was on sale.
