    Give "U.S. Metals" a try.
They stock a lot of stainless, alloy and exotics in pipe, fittings & valves. Mainly for process & power piping but they are worth a shot.

They probably have a yard closer to you but they are based out of Houston 1-800-676-7836.

As another option, you might google Burns Stainless. I know them as a vender of auto exhaust system tubing, but maybe they have what you want at a reasonable price.

also mis-spoke about wall thickness wanting .049.
McMaster Carr (mcmaster.com) page 1865. Brass and 316SS plus all the supports and fittings. However 8' is the longest length.

Exactly, do you have anybody locally? I know I have a steel place here and if I ask my guy can get in anything I want, the only downfall being I have to order 20's but even then his price beats ordering online for smaller quantities. So give your local steel place a shot, unless ya live in the sticks, ahaha

Give this place a shot, there prices aren't too bad but the longest length you can order I belive is 8' which I think you might find is pretty common because of common carrier limitations, unless your order large quantities.

    Hope it helps

McMaster Carr and/or WW Grainger has that kind of stuff including the supports and anchors. You check it out on-line. You can build just about anything out of those two catalogs.

started a topic SS Tubing Source

    SS Tubing Source

Anyone help me with a source for stainless tubing for a boat railing/bow pulpit?

Wanting 1" and I think it is .063 wall, prefer polished that I can touch up after.

If anyone is/has done this type of work I'd really like to pick your brain about a few other things.....pitfalls...etc.

    Thanks
    Ed
