Need Advice On A New Purchase

Hey guys, I have a chance to buy a new,never used MM210 for $700.00.
It doesn't have a a gun or a ground cable,but has never been used. Is this a good deal?? Please give me some input.....should I buy it??

It sounds like a good deal, and at the same time it sounds very odd. If it is new, I believe all Miller MIG welders come with a MIG gun and a ground cable.
Why does this MM 210 not have either?

Kiwi, I guess the guy that owns it lives in a rental home (no 220 power) and he told me he has miss placed the acc. package with the gun and ground cable in his last move. I talked to the guy today over the phone ....sounds legit to me. And he's only 50 miles from me.
It may be mine before the weekend.......

If it sounds too good to be true, the machine is probably hot.

Get the serial # of the machine and give us a call. Any time a machine is stolen we attach a note on the serial #. Also if he gives you a bad serial # we should be able to sort that out as well.

When you ask for the S/N tell the seller you need it to download the proper owners manual. True statement.

It was a craigs list scam or it was Hot. When I asked this clown for the serial# the next email I got (5 mins. later) was short and sweet (SOLD)

Bummer, I wouldn't bag on Craigs List too much though, as long as you're wary and constantly looking, you can find some good to great deals.

I recently purchased a Millermatic 212 with a large full gas bottle, 10 lb spool of wire, and new Miller Elite helmet for $1200 from a guy that advertised it on Craigs List.

Ya just have to be keep looking and be careful.
