  • Carbon Steel Pics.

The following Pics are of a hydraulic press part that I made out of 5/8" thk 1020 carbon steel plate. The Dynasty 300 was at almost 100 percent duty cycle using a HW-18 torch on this part. Just looking for a reason to upgrade to a 700.

Nice press! Any pics of the finished product? Looks like it will beat the heck out of one from Harbor Freight!

                    Nice Job!

What was your filler rod? ER70s-2? 5/32"?

I am assuming you used the pulser. How many PPS' were you using?

Again, nice hand work. I wish I was that steady.

Thanks Dean1124, filler wire was ER80S-D2, 0.093" Dia. I had the pulser on for about the first 2 inches of weld and then turned it off. When I did have it on the settings were as follows: PPS. 500, Peak T 40, BKGND A 25.
