Return of an old timer

Ok I have returned, I have gotten some time back and am doing a bit of welding again. I have a job with firm that repairs, cryogenic heat exchangers and does confined space entry work. In other words, I crawl up into small spaces way off the ground and do work the acrophobic or clostrophobic would never touch. I am working on my certifications, for the companies stamp to become a repair welder. Very cool place and a great bunch of guys. No small machinery in this place all syncrowave 350's 500's and one dynasty 700. Specializing in heavy aluminum, has distinct needs and those machines are awesome.

I am no longer the printer, just a welder.

I too seem to get work that nobody wants, crawling into port holes that it takes two men to fit me through side ways and then standing in a cone shaped vessel to tig weld stainless down at my feet.

glad to see you back!!!!.... I have only been back for a month or so...
guess that the oldtimers are coming back... hope it means entries that are..more technical and less social.. have even seen a few entries by HAWK.... hope to see many more from that old friend...
