  • Need a good passive lense that eliminates the orange flare

Welding (TIG) stainless exhaust components and the orange flare is hindering visibility.
Anyone here know of a good passive lense that cures this problem?
Running lower amperage with a butt load of argon from both sides.
Tried the cheap gold covered glass lense already, not great. Anyone use a Wens?

I can't be the only guy using a passive lense. Enough with that...

Can anyone recommend a good molecular sieve to filter contaminates from argon then?

I have used these blue lenses in combination with my passive #8 filter.
The cobalt blue blocks the sodium yellow flare and makes it easier for me to see the puddle.
Please heed the advice and use them with a welding lens as they are designed for
      glass working and viewing applications.

I've been warned about the Cobalts from a fellow that invented a lense for gas welding. I was told they have caused a lot of problems for welders vision
