• 1946 willys cj2a engine swap lt4 t56 t3/t4 turbo

Lt4 t56 6 speed manual and a t3/t4 turbo, 4 wheel 10 inch drum brakes, 3.08 lsd diff. No seat belts. No roll cage. Will pull the front wheels at a 20 mph roll, has too much to just launch it. Gets sideways at 40 or 50 mph, no problem. Wish they'd let me run it at the drag strip
blue stock,
miller shopmaster 300, s22a feeder, s30 spool gun, hf251, arc pig
miller maxstar 150 STL
miller maxstar 210
miller a bp 330
non blue,
Lincoln weldanpower 150 1982 model
esab plasma
Hobart ironman 210, spool gun
victor oxy acy set
thousands of snap on tools, 3 large boxes and tons of automotive equip.

It's not that fancy...it's my shopmaster 300 with a S22a and a hf box. Pic isn't clear on this. Had to resize pic. My maxstar is deep in the background also. We have 7 welding machines at work..6 are mine. Shopmaster, maxstar 210, a/bp330 in the storage trailer behind the shop, hobart ironman 210, lincoln weldanpower 150, maxstar 150, and the last one is the shops, Its a millermatic 135 I think, I only use mine

Thanks,
Not any on my computer yet, the fab work was pretty minimum compared to the others I've done. The body is sitting on a 1973 Dj5 post service delivery jeep. The body was a direct bolt on. The cross member was moved back, mechanical clutch linkage built, motor mounts built and just a little cutting and notching to make room. I did do all the exhaust myself. I have done everything myself so far. Let me know what you'd like to see and I'll take some pictures tomorrow.

It all depends on the drag strip you take it to. I have no doubt that our local backwoods red neck track here would gladly take your money and let you give it your best attempt at squeegeeing yourself down the track if you wish.

I love my maxstar 150. It's such a fun, simple and capable machine for its size.

The Turbo install and plumbing would be one many of us would like to see........

most folks may not realize..but... the simpler and neater the finished install looks....

the more thought and sweat went into it....

The jeep was running and driving last summer but needed a few details finished, so I drove it some. It was a dexcool motor that had been mixed with the green antifreeze. Anyways the head gaskets were rotting around the coolant ports, under boost pressure and a base line pcm tune didn't work very well. Blew compression into the cooling system. Tore it down back in September of 15, been back together since yesterday.. new tune. Cometic mls gaskets, arp head studs and a 7 psi spring instead or the 12 in the wastegate. Nothing like hearing that scream from the turbo, still need to fine tune it but it's a real hot rod. It's one of the most powerful small blocks I've ever had and the least amount of jeep I've ever had....

No problem on the pics, just remember it was running last year and all my fresh welds are already rusty. No paint was used on this build.

I'm sorry, I lied. I sprayed the intercooler flat black and smeared some kind of old bed liner on the top and lit it on fire. It now has the proper patina that the rest of the jeep already had

It's primitive compared to the ls stuff. This one has a ecm from a 94-95, mines out of an impala. The engine is a 96 model. The tuning software is tuner cats. It's the best program for 94/95 ecm. Can tune multiple times without having to buy the credits like I do for my hp tuner software. It's on a 2 bar map tune. I copied a supercharged tune then have been modifying a little to run on the turbo instead of a belt drive charger. The biggest difference is turbo lag, and that's no problem.. just advanced ignition timing till it reaches equal pressure in the intake, then it starts pouring fuel in and takes timing out. All easily adjustable on the spark, fuel and maf tables.
