Hey guys I'm a little new to this TIG thing esp when it comes to picking fillers and tungsten. I did a search and couldn't find anything that was like what I'm doing so here it is... I have 2" OD 1/4" wall 4130 chromoly tubing for links on my mega truck and the weld in bungs are 4130 as well. I'm pretty sure to use the 2% correct? but what about filler? I've heard some people using a stainless rod on the moly. I know different applications call for different filler but I've also heard of people having luck with the er80s2. also the whole link bar is gonna be heat treated so will that change my use of filler? any help is appreciated.
