A couple of decades ago when I was last over in Great Britain a friend took me to a bike gathering up west of Leeds. Location was right next to a high old stone bridge. Amazed to see mostly Harleys, Japanese bikes and an odd BMW or Italian make. When I asked where all the old British bikes were the standard reply was they had all been shipped over to Japan.
