Does anyone know of or have seen a book on Off Road Suspension design? Maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks, Jef

I'll try to remember when I get home to have a look.
I have a book on suspension design for stock/ race cars, the same company also had a book on off road suspension design, maybe it's listed in the back. If nothing else it should give me a publisher to google.

    What you looking at doing?

          Awww we won't tell anyone!

I just checked that book and I guess I was mistaken, it only has oval paved and dirt related books listed in it.
If I happen to get back to that store I'll see if I can find the book I'm thinking of.

As the question states, I have a 04 Bimmer. The car came with, to my knowledge, was a ZHP performance package. Stiffer suspension, new exhaust, new interior, M Style shifter and steering wheel, the body was lowered, custom rims, and a lip on the trunk...

                          Front end geometry

The pivot points of the "A" arms greatly affects the geometry which in turn affects the handling of the car or truck. There is a software out there that can make it easy to calculate the roll centers. It is kind of geared towards racing but it help you understand what is going on with the front end. Check out http://www.racingsoftware.com/
