    You're absolutely right,that was one of the conserns with the KERS system on F1 cars in the rain as soon as the thing gave them problemsThe whole frame and every other part is made of carbon fiber on those things!

    Carbon Fiber is Conductive..

    Guys..
    as cool looking as that is.. just be aware that carbon fiber is electricly conductive.. and may pose a shock hazard in some situations..

    i made up one of those when i was back in school. didn't have a vacumn to get a nice form though.

    came out nice, but the way my helmets geth thrown around, the finish would be destroyed in a week.

    I had a buddy make me carbon lid. We are probably going make a couple more if your interested I can give you guys a his contact info. This was a fun project that turned out real well. Thought guys might dig it.
