It's always sad to hear about the loss of any competitor in motorsports. My thoughts go out to the Kalitta family and to the rest of the racing community that will miss him as well.If necessity is the Mother of Invention, I must be the Father of Desperation!

Its to bad to see him gone at such a young age and to know that he left two kids without a father is what bothers me the most.
I read the article saying his home town was Mt Clemens, MI.
His Home town is actually BelleVille, MI
I used to build all of their stairways at Willow run Airport and have done some work at his house years ago.
Its very sad to hear that hes gone.
